Our guru of everything digital and pretty is responsible for taking something obvious and boring (hotels) and making it incredible in a way that drives business into the hotel in screaming droves. Think pretty pictures with a witty twist, using data driven media to give people what they want before they know they want it, and maximizing digital tools to make ibis Adelaide top of mind like an earworm worthy of one-hit-wonders throwback tours lasting decades.
We want different, fun and out there. Our ideal person will bring a fresh perspective and question everything that we do. Key will be to increase revenue by enhancing and maximising our profile through traditional & social media, direct marketing, database management, web site content management, partnering with/linking to key partner web sites, Public Relations and promotional partnerships. insert gasp of air here.
“Web is the new canvas”, wrote someone super smart (probs whilst eating their smashed avocado … mmm, smashed avo). And we need someone who gets that and more. Creativity is critical to this role, as is the ability to build relationships and communicate across all mediums. This is an opportunity to be proactive, take ownership and put those creative initiatives you’ve been thinking about for years, or weeks or seconds into play. Add in, of course, the ability to keep multiple plates spinning above your head at once while communicating vision like Richard Branson.
Previous experience in a role of this scope is preferred, as is proficiency with Adobe platform, Photoshop and ideally photographic skills.
